Akuvox SmartPlus — Firewall Ports & Domains
If an Akuvox intercom sits behind a managed firewall, these ports and domains have to be open for SmartPlus cloud service to work. Symptoms of a blocked rule range from a device that never comes online to one that registers fine but has no video, no app calls, or no remote access.
If the site's IT will allow it, whitelisting the domain
akuvox.com (or *.akuvox.com) covers every service below in one rule. Only work
through the individual lists when a blanket domain rule is not permitted.

Domains
Akuvox documents these with an xcloud placeholder. The list below is already
resolved for the US cloud (ucloud), which is what our equipment uses. On a European
account substitute ecloud, and so on for other regions.

akuvox. If a rule appears to be ignored, try the other forms before assuming the ports are the
problem.
After Changing the Rules
Reboot the intercom and confirm it comes back online in the SmartPlus portal. If it registers but
something specific still fails, the failing feature usually points at the rule: no video preview points at
RTSP (554 / 8601 / 8602) and rtspsrv; no app call points at SIP (5070 / 5071 / 8603) and
pbx; a device that will not take settings points at config download (8091 / 8604) and
config.
