A built-in LCD heater keeps the touchscreen alive and condensation-free through arctic winters, while the fanless aluminum chassis sheds heat silently all summer. Few door phones on the market carry this operating range.
Cold Climates
−40°C to +10°C — enable LCD Heat Control and power with PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at). Flush-mount for insulation; the heater prevents touchscreen freeze and interior condensation.
Hot Climates
+35°C to +55°C — surface-mount in shade for full-airflow passive cooling. No fans means silence, zero moving parts, and nothing to clog.
Extreme Sites
Beyond the range? Heated mounting boxes, shade canopies, or dual indoor/outdoor units synced through the Akuvox cloud keep entries running anywhere.
Installer note: the heating function draws 10–15 W — spec PoE+ (25 W) or a 12V/4A supply for cold-climate installs. Ask us; we'll spec the right power with your order.
