SmartPlus Subscription — Activate & Renew
SmartPlus app accounts and cloud features run on a subscription. Here’s what each service covers, how residents and property managers keep theirs active, and how installers with payment permission activate or renew services in the cloud portal.

Residents & property managers
Your subscription is managed for you — you don’t pay Akuvox directly. When a service is close to expiring (the app will warn you, and door/app features stop working once it lapses):
- Contact your installer, or
- Message us on WhatsApp or the site chat, or use our Contact Us page — we can renew it same-day.

Installers — activate or renew in the portal
You need payment permission on your installer account (we control this as the distributor). Don’t have it? Send us the site name and what needs activating — we’ll run the payment.
Open Subscriptions
Log in to the SmartPlus Cloud portal and click Subscription in the left column. Choose the installer and the project type.
Activate or Renew
Pick Activate for brand-new services or Renew for expiring ones, then select the target site(s) and service type(s) — the price shows as you check items.
Choose the renewal method
Auto Renew charges every 30 days and extends the expiration 30 days at a time; Manual Renew lets you pick the period. Coupons don’t work with auto-renewal, and new commercial projects don’t support it.
Pay
Complete the billing information, accept the terms, and pay by Stripe or PayPal (or a coupon). Commercial projects created after June 1, 2025 use credits purchased from Akuvox instead.
