How to Enable SmartPlus Notifications (Akuvox)
If your phone isn't ringing when a guest calls from the intercom, the app is missing one or more permissions. Set them once and door calls will ring like a normal phone call.

Android (Samsung, Google, etc.)
1 Open Notification Settings
In SmartPlus, tap Me → Settings → Notification Settings. A red dot next to it means a permission is still missing.

2 Allow everything under Permission Settings
Tap Permission Settings and switch on every item in the list — the red dot disappears when all are allowed.

3 Double-check the three that matter most
Allow display over other apps — lets the incoming-call screen pop up.
Push Notification — delivers the call alert.
Ignore Battery Optimization — stops Android from putting SmartPlus to sleep in the background.
iPhone (iOS)
1 Allow notifications in iOS Settings
Open iPhone Settings → Notifications → SmartPlus and turn on Allow Notifications (banners and sounds). If the app asks for notification permission on first launch, tap Allow.
Still not ringing?
• Sign in with the account from your setup sheet (scan the QR code you were given).
• Turn off Do Not Disturb / Focus mode, or allow SmartPlus through it.
• Update SmartPlus to the latest version in the app store, then restart the phone.
• Keeping SmartPlus running in the background can use slightly more battery — that's normal and required for calls to come through.
