Enable Apple Wallet — Installers & Property Managers (Akuvox)
Turn on the Apple Wallet Pass per resident account — from SmartPlus Cloud or the Property Manager portal — and choose which relays a Wallet tap opens.
Requirements: paid SmartPlus add-on (ask us or your property manager to activate it) · SmartPlus 7.50.3 (iOS) / 7.50.0003 (Android) or newer · iPhone on iOS 17+ or Apple Watch on watchOS 8+.
Supported door devices & minimum firmware:
| Device | Minimum firmware |
|---|---|
| X915 (V2) | 2915.30.10.811 |
| S539 | 539.30.10.613 |
| A095 | 95.30.11.104 (external Wiegand/OSDP reader required) |
| R20 (V5) | 320.30.12.103 — note: build 320.30.12.104 does not support Apple Wallet |
Enable it per account
1 Single-family sites
In SmartPlus Cloud, open Single-Family Site(s), create the site with New or open an existing one with the edit icon, switch on Apple Wallet, and submit.

2 Communities
Open the community under Sites, pick the building, create the apartment with New or edit an existing one, enable Apple Wallet on the resident account, and submit.

3 Property managers can enable it too
In the PM portal, open the resident under Residents and switch on Apple Wallet in the Access Type row — the subscription expiration date shows right below the toggle.

4 Choose which relays it opens
When adding or editing a door device, each relay has its own Access Method checkboxes — untick Apple Wallet on any relay a Wallet tap shouldn’t trigger.

5 Check the status
Activated accounts show the subscription expiration date; accounts without it show Unsubscribed.

Door logs: Apple Wallet unlocks are recorded as their own door-open type, so you can tell them apart from RF cards, PINs, or face unlocks when reviewing logs.
