Unlock with Apple Wallet (Akuvox) — Residents
Add your door credential to Apple Wallet and unlock with a tap of your iPhone or Apple Watch — no app, no PIN, and with Express Mode it works without even waking the phone.
Requirements: paid SmartPlus add-on (ask us or your property manager to activate it) · SmartPlus 7.50.3 (iOS) / 7.50.0003 (Android) or newer · iPhone on iOS 17+ or Apple Watch on watchOS 8+.
Supported door devices & minimum firmware:
| Device | Minimum firmware |
|---|---|
| X915 (V2) | 2915.30.10.811 |
| S539 | 539.30.10.613 |
| A095 | 95.30.11.104 (external Wiegand/OSDP reader required) |
| R20 (V5) | 320.30.12.103 — note: build 320.30.12.104 does not support Apple Wallet |
Add the pass and unlock
1 Open Authorization
In SmartPlus, tap Me, then Authorization.

2 Pick Apple Wallet Pass
Select Apple Wallet Pass.

3 Add to Apple Wallet
Tap Add to Apple Wallet, then confirm with Add. If the button is grayed out, the feature hasn't been enabled or paid for on your account yet — see the Troubleshooting note below.

4 Tap to unlock
Hold your iPhone or Apple Watch to the door station’s card reader area. Express Mode is on by default, so the door opens without unlocking the phone; turn it off in Wallet if you prefer Face ID / passcode confirmation first.

Troubleshooting
Can’t add the card in SmartPlus — the Apple Wallet option isn’t enabled on the account, or the subscription payment hasn’t gone through. Verify both with your installer or property manager.
Card still shows in Wallet after removing it in the app — expected: the pass stays visible in Apple Wallet but no longer opens anything. Remove it manually from Wallet if you want it gone.
